Easy switch, good plan

I got the 10GB GSMA plan. Switching over was pretty smooth, just took a few steps online. My phone worked right away. Haven't had any issues with service around my area. It's nice not to worry about huge phone bills anymore.

Solid deal on annual plan

I decided to try RedPocket after seeing their annual plans. I went with the 1GB annual data plan since I'm mostly on Wi-Fi. It was a good price for the whole year, much less than I was paying with my old provider. Activation with my eSIM was pretty quick. So far, it's been great for the money I spent.

Good value, annual plan

I was looking to save on my phone bill and the annual prepaid plans at RedPocket really caught my eye. I picked up the 25GB annual plan. The upfront cost was a bit much, but it worked out to be a lot cheaper per month than what I was paying before. Activation was straightforward after I received the physical SIM card, which arrived in about 4 days. I kept my old number, and that port-in process went fine, took about 2 hours for everything to switch over. Data speeds have been consistent for my daily use, even with 5G, and I haven't had to top up. Customer support was helpful when I had a question about setting up the APN, they responded to my chat quickly. Overall, felt like a solid investment.

How's RedPocket compare to Mint Mobile? Looking at the 10GB plans, pretty similar prices but not sure about network reliability.

G Greg 2 months ago
From my experience, RedPocket let me choose between the different major networks (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) so I could pick the best one for my area. Mint is just T-Mobile, so if T-Mobile isn't great where you are, RedPocket might be better.

I've used both. RedPocket's customer service felt a little more straightforward, and being able to pick the network was a huge plus for coverage in rural areas I visit. Mint was fine, but I prefer the flexibility here.

Thinking about switching to RedPocket, but curious about the annual plans. Do they usually have good Black Friday deals on those?

R Ryan Marsh 3 months ago
Yeah, they totally do! I snagged an annual plan last Black Friday and it was a pretty sweet discount. Definitely worth waiting for that time of year if you can.

I think I saw some posts about their Cyber Monday deals being good too, often similar to Black Friday. Keep an eye out around then, they usually have something for the annual bundles.
